Trained at Linghai Art School in Hong Kong (香港嶺海藝專), completed the “Diploma Course in Chinese Ink Painting” at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, and obtained a Master’s degree in Literature in the “Landscape Specialization Program” at the Chinese Painting Department of Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts in 1989.
Has taught ink painting courses at Linghai Art School (嶺海藝專), Xijiang University, Hong Kong Visual Arts Centre, Polytechnic University, and Baptist University. Solo exhibitions have been held at Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts, Vermont Studio Center in the United States, Hong Kong Arts Centre, Polytechnic University, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Baptist University, and the Cowhouse Studios. In addition to ink paintings, the large-scale ink installation “Moon Surging in the Great River (月湧大江流)” is collected by the Hong Kong Museum of Art and was selected for the “New Ink Art – Creation – Transcendence – Soaring” exhibition held by the museum in 2008.
