Born in Shanghai, China in 1935, with ancestral roots in Haining, Zhejiang. Graduated from the Department of Art at National Taiwan Normal University.
In 1963, pursued an MFA in Painting at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC).
A seasoned Hong Kong designer and painter, born in 1953 with ancestral roots in Dongguan. His father, Wan Pui Ling, graduated from Guangdong Provincial Art College in 1948 before moving to Hong Kong to work as an art teacher. He received early artistic training from his father and after secondary school, pursued formal studies at Lingnan Art College and Hong Kong Polytechnic.
Born in Hong Kong, he is a passionate artist with over 60 years of dedication to the study and practice of art. He is currently a member of the China Calligraphers Association, the Hong Kong Art Club, and the Chun Fung Painting Society, as well as the President of the Hanyou Art Research Institute.
Retired in 1991, he held over ten personal calligraphy and painting exhibitions in HK, USA, and Canada, with his works being highly appreciated by both Chinese and foreign audiences.
Born in Beijing, he has resided in Hong Kong for over 45 years. A self-taught artist with formal professional training, his works were selected for the Beijing Fine Arts Exhibition in the 1970s and won awards at the Contemporary Asian Youth Art Exhibition in the 1980s.
Over the years, he has held public positions in HK and dedicated himself tirelessly to promoting art. He once served as a sponsoring trustee of the Ullens Center for Contemporary Art (UCCA) in Beijing, China, and is an important collector of HK contemporary art.
Hong Kong Ink Artist. Trained at Linghai Art College in Hong Kong, he completed the “Diploma in Chinese Ink Painting” program at The Chinese University of Hong Kong and earned a Master of Arts degree in “Landscape Painting Studies” from the Chinese Painting Department of Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts in 1989.
Her artistic journey began in 1987 when she started studying freehand ink painting and calligraphy under master Li Zewen. The following year, her work was selected for the annual Philippe Charriol Foundation Art Competition and sold at a charity auction for a notable price. Between 1989 and 1996, she held five solo exhibitions across mainland China and Hong Kong, publishing three accompanying art catalogues.
